About the Swedish Pensions Agency

On 1 January 2010, Pensionsmyndigheten (the Swedish Pensions Agency) took over the responsibility for all national pensions.

The purpose of this is to simplify administration and make things easier for pension savers and pensioners. All the administration concerning the national pension will be dealt with in one and the same place. In the new authority, it will be easier to find out about other parts of the national pension.
