It is your responsibility to notify us if there has been a change of circumstance that may affect your pension. If you are paid too much money, you may be liable to repay the excess amount.
Changes you need to report to the Swedish Pensions Agency
- Moving to another country. This may affect your right to receive a pension.
- Change of address within the same country. Otherwise, you may miss important information from us.
- New pensions or annuities, or changes to existing ones, from a country other than Sweden. Changes to your income may affect how your Swedish pension is calculated.
- Change of marital status. This may affect the calculation of your pension or your right to a survivor’s pension.
- Separation or cohabitation with someone with whom you have been married or had children.
- Death. When you die, we need to be informed of this by your next of kin so that we do not continue to make pension payments. Please inform your next of kin about this now so that they are prepared.
